Leader in Science of Reading Solutions
Literacy is essential to an individual’s ability to communicate, express themselves, and engage with the world around them. Lexia® believes everyone has a right to literacy, and that as educators, we have an obligation to deliver. Every student deserves to be taught literacy in a way that works for them, no matter who they are, where they live, what level they are at, and what learning challenges they face. Every teacher deserves the support they need to teach literacy confidently and effectively.
Lexia is all for literacy because we know that literacy can and should be for all.
About Us
Founded in 1984 with private funding and grants from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, Lexia’s science of reading-based instructional, assessment, and professional learning programs play a critical role in literacy learning for millions of K–12 students and educators.
Our award-winning flagship product, Lexia® Core5® Reading, has set the standard for technology-based reading instruction. Through the addition of curriculum products Lexia® PowerUp Literacy®, Lexia® RAPID™ Assessment, and Lexia® English, as well as our professional learning solutions, Lexia LETRS® (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) and Lexia Aspire™ Professional Learning, we’ve continued our promise to improve literacy learning for both teachers and students.
In 2020, Lexia became a member of the Cambium Learning® Group family of companies. As a result, Voyager Sopris Learning's portfolio of reading, writing, and math intervention products became part of Lexia, and Lexia LETRS joined the Lexia brand family. Together, we provide our customers with a robust offering of solutions that meet the diverse needs of the growing education market.
