School Sees Year-After-Year Student Literacy Growth with Science of Reading-Based Program

After seeing literacy skill development successfully accelerate for two years, Southeast Elementary continues to use Lexia® Core 5® Reading to identify and support below-grade level readers and intervene as needed. It also aligns well with the school’s professional learning communities’ focus on prescriptive and personalized learning paths for every student. The school’s commitment to getting readers to proficiency is illustrated by the daily 50-minute reading block across all grade levels.
